Profile
I found my purpose in 1996, after I started in the mental health field working with at-risk children and adolescents in foster care. Since I’ve had the pleasure in working with many in assisting them in meeting their persona goals in life. I feel that each client brings their own strengths and I’m there to assist them in finding their strengths and make quality decisions for themselves or learning ways to move forward in their lives with the necessary tools to help them along. I started my private practice in 2016, and within the past year began tele-mental health (video only) for those who are in need of counseling but can not afford the normal basic rate for counseling. I specialize in trauma / PTSD and anxiety. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) since 2017. Currently, I work alongside with military veterans since 2016. Working with military culture has been my ongoing passion since 2006, after my brother was sent Iraq and Afghanistan. I continue to provide support to our men and women who served this country proudly as a way to show my appreciation. Many families lack the knowledge about PTSD, whether military or non-military; it exist more then we know. I find myself as the “bridge” in linking both civilian and military world together so we can learn more about how to better support our military veterans and active duty members.
