Our establishment is named in honor of the late James J. City (1918-2004). He was born and raised in Blanco, TX and moved to Austin as a young ma where he operated as a local businessman in the construction industry. He dedicated his life to serving others and made his mouth watering bar-b-que to share with family and friends for more than 70 years.
